Maths Curriculum Introduction

We aspire to provide the highest quality curriculum that develops confident and resilient learners. We empower our students to persevere and to think critically and creatively to make connections when solving real-world problems. Students are enriched by our enthusiastic staff who inspire appreciation for the aesthetic, cultural, and historical aspects of mathematics within a multicultural context. Students will achieve a deeper understanding of the core mathematical domains:

• Numeracy, including financial applications

• Proportional reasoning

• Algebraic reasoning

• Spatial awareness and reasoning

• Critical evaluation and manipulation of data and, in the process, engage in the behaviours of explanation, justification and proof.
