Economics Curriculum Introduction
· To develop the skills and confidence of students to explore how producers, consumers and government interact in markets nationally and internationally · To be able to interpret data from a range of sources and to be able to acquire the skills to interpret make informed judgements. · To understand and apply their economic knowledge and skills to investigate current and historical economic situations and issues in a range of national and global contexts · To develop the ability to critically evaluate government policies and how the impact on the social economic environment · To be able to actively engage in the study of economics as effective, self-motivated students and as critical thinkers with enquiring minds.
